Iced Red Apple

Iced Red Apple is apple the sweet way. It skips the sour, mouth-puckering style of green apple and goes for the taste of a crisp red one straight from the fridge.

Crisp, sweet and very cold

On the inhale you get red apple: juicy and sweet with a slight candied edge, like an apple sweet more than apple juice. There is a crispness to it too. The exhale is strongly cooled, and the sweetness hangs on after the chill fades.

Fans of apple sweets tend to like it, as do people who want a fruit ice that is not berry or melon. It is also a decent middle ground for people stuck between fruit and menthol.

POP Flex Iced Red Apple

This page used to sell Iced Red Apple in POP Vapor UK's POP Flex range. The archived listing describes a no-button disposable that was ready to use out of the pack, with up to 600 puffs and 2% salt nicotine. That is 20mg/ml. The page did not say how much liquid the device held or what the battery was.

You can no longer buy it. POP Flex disposables were discontinued, and single-use vapes were banned from sale in the UK on 1 June 2025.

Red apple ice from a pod

This is one of the easier swaps. Red apple ice was a familiar disposable flavour, and several big brands now sell it as a pod.

A prefilled pod kit is the closest thing to the old experience. You keep a rechargeable battery and clip in sealed pods. Lost Mary and Elux both sell red apple ice pods. Each pod holds up to 2ml, which is the legal limit in the UK.

A refillable pod kit is the other way. You fill your own pod from a 10ml bottle of nic salt, which costs less per ml and gives you more choice of brand and strength. The UK maximum is 20mg/ml, the same as the POP Flex, and 10mg/ml is a common choice for people who vape often.

If you have never used a refillable kit, it takes about a minute to learn. Open the fill port, fill to just below the line, close it, and wait a few minutes for the coil to soak before your first puff.
