POP Flex Spearmint

MintOriginally POP Flex
Unbranded pod kit with the ingredients that make up Spearmint

Spearmint is the mint for people who do not actually want an ice-cold vape. It is soft, a little sweet and tastes more like chewing gum than toothpaste.

The archived POP Flex Spearmint page is a bit of a puzzle. Its description talks about watermelon, strawberries and a bubblegum base, which has nothing to do with spearmint. It looks like text copied over from another flavour by mistake. The page also gave no puff count or nicotine strength. So we have kept the specs blank, and the tasting notes below describe spearmint as a flavour, not that specific listing.

The inhale is a gentle, rounded mint with a hint of sweetness, the same as a stick of spearmint gum. There is less of the sharp bite you get from peppermint. The exhale is fresh and lightly cool rather than freezing.

That makes it a good choice for people who like mint but find menthol too much. Some vapers keep a spearmint pod around as their "between flavours" option too, since it resets your palate without numbing it.

The POP Flex range

POP Flex was a line of button-free disposables sold by POP Vapor UK around 2022. Like every single-use vape, it has been banned from sale in the UK since 1 June 2025, and the range no longer exists.

Spearmint in pods

Spearmint might be the easiest POP flavour to replace. Most of the big pod brands sell it, from Elf Bar to IVG.

Prefilled pods are the closest thing to a disposable. You charge the battery, click in a sealed pod and vape. When the pod runs out, you swap it. Elf Bar's ELFA range has a spearmint pod, and so does Hayati. In the UK, pods hold no more than 2ml of liquid.

Refillable pods mean filling the pod yourself from a 10ml bottle of nic salt. Spearmint nic salts are everywhere, and you can choose from several strengths. The UK maximum is 20mg/ml.

Because the original strength is unknown, just start where you are comfortable. If you came from 20mg disposables, 20mg/ml is the natural starting point. If you vaped lightly, 10mg/ml is a common choice.

Pod alternatives

Pod options that get close to Spearmint. Listed for reference only.

  • Prefilled pod

Elf Bar ELFA Pro Spearmint pods

Spearmint has been in Elf Bar's line-up for years, and the ELFA pod keeps it going with a rechargeable battery.

  • Prefilled pod

Hayati Pro Max 6K Spearmint prefilled pod

A larger pod system with a spearmint option. Fewer pod changes if you vape a lot.

  • 10ml nic salt for a refillable pod kit

    Elfliq Spearmint nic salt

The bottled version of Elf Bar's spearmint, for any refillable pod kit.

Questions people ask

Why does the old POP Flex Spearmint page describe watermelon and strawberry?

The archived listing has a description for a watermelon, strawberry and bubblegum flavour, which looks like it was copied from another product by mistake. We have ignored it and written about spearmint.

What nicotine strength was POP Flex Spearmint?

The archived page does not say. It gives no puff count or strength either, so we leave those blank.

Is spearmint less harsh than menthol?

Most people find it gentler. Spearmint has a softer, sweeter taste and usually less cooling, so it feels smoother on the throat than a strong menthol.
